Our Mission is to...

...free dogs from the horrors of the puppy mills in Pennsylvania.

We are a group of men and women, in the Lancaster County area, dedicated to this mission.  Our philosophy is based on that
of a wonderful group called Puppy Mill Rescue, Inc., for whom some of our volunteers worked with before founding A Tail to Tell.

Our philosophy focuses on the health and social well-being of the unwanted or retired dogs of commercial breeders in
Pennsylvania, where these breeding dogs are often abused or mis-treated by the operators of these puppy mills.
A Tail to Tell, Inc., works daily to pull unwanted/retired puppy mill survivors from the Amish puppy mills in Pennsylvania, and
from other commercial breeders here in the Northeast US. We provide veterinary care, and loving foster homes while we work to
find the best forever homes possible for our dogs.
